three tangent tuesday.
i'm a pretty pathetic blogger lately, sorry. jared and i both have been so sick on and off, for what seems like months now. it's a little discouraging sometimes. and the few times we've been out and about, i haven't been toting my camera around. you know me.. what's a blog post without photos?? we're both feeling better and are loving that autumn is here! still need to go up in the canyons and take mad photos. the leaves are amazing.
anyway, here's a little three tangent tuesday for ya.
first, like i said, i love autumn. so maybe i've made apple crisp 3 times in the last month. what?
my new tai-pan bowl that i love. didn't get a photo of apple crisp, but i can't get enough of green apples lately.
second, a couple of nights ago, our power went out for about 4 hours. so, jared and i made shadow puppets on the ceiling while laying in bed. we need to practice our shadow puppet skills, big time. but i had fun.
third, i have a hard time leaving furniture in the same position for very long. jared can attest to this. i love repositioning pieces and finding new (and better) placement. so yesterday i went to town.

music monday: the radio dept.
my sweetheart is sick. poor thing. he has a crazy high fever, chilling, sore throat. the whole shabang. i'm pounding C and garlic... it better not head my way.he requested tomato soup and grilled cheese today. it hit the spot.
we're currently enjoying the radio dept. so i'm sharing with you my favorite song of theirs today, "never follow suit." enjoy.

three tangent tuesday.
i have been sick lately.. so sick of being sick. currently fighting a kidney infection and now i'm just hoping the antibiotics i'm on will take care of it. anyway, been spending too much time at home, in bed.
so here is a home confined three tangent tuesday. remember those?
first.. i snatched up an ivy cutting and am going to plant it once it gets some roots. wish me luck!
second, our girls.. this first photo of margot kills me. such a face. that girl has attitude.

some more snapshots. that's right, snapshots.
thought i'd share a few more photos from our fabulous phoenix trip.. sweet jared was extremely reluctant to travel in a car with the cats (understandably!) but let me have my way. my rationale: they might be just fine in the car, and will have fun playing at my parent's house... OR it could be a disaster in the car AND at my parent's house. only one way to find out! i told jared if it blew up in my face, i'd own it, and learn from it. turns out the girls were total champs in the car and in phoenix. props ladies!!
